New Seasons of Monk and Psych Premiered July 18th

The new seasons of Monk and Psych premiered on Friday, July 18, 2008 on the USA Network…and I missed them both! D’oh! I did get to catch the new episode of Psych the next day, but I still have yet to see Monk. But the most recent episodes of both shows will be on again tomorrow, so I will definitely catch Monk then - and maybe watch the most recent episode of Psych again as well.

Psych was pretty good. And it was funny as always. I was actually happy to see Cybill Shepherd guest star as Shawn Spencer’s mother. And also was glad to see Christopher McDonald. I’ve liked him ever since he played “Goose” in Grease II. Anyway, I’ll try and be sure to catch the new episodes *this* Friday and not miss them again!

Season 7 Episode 1 of Monk: Mr. Monk Buys a House
Monk is going to buy a new house because he’s tired of his next door neighbor’s loud music. And the guy he tries to buy the house from turns it into a money pit. (Cool. Brad Garrett is guest starring!)

Season 3 Episode 1 of Psych: Ghosts
Gus’ boss finds out Gus has another job working with Shawn and asks him to help solve a little problem with ghosts at his house. Also, Shawn’s mother comes to town.
