I watched the RW/RR Challenge: The Island Reunion Wednesday night. It was okay. I loved that some people called Ev a sell-out. Hee.
I can’t even remember what happened on the reunion show. I recall Paula crying about Kenny and Johnny betraying her and choosing Ev to be on their boat (and win $75,000) instead of her (Paula).
At the end of the show Kenny apologized, and he and Paula hugged and made up.
KellyAnne was being a major *bleep*. She has such an attitude all of the time. I don’t even mind that Johnny gave her a hard time on the island as much as I did before, seeing how annoying she can be!
Oh and KellyAnne is dating Wes! At first KellyAnne wouldn’t say who she was dating, so Johnny asked “What’s the Opposite of East?” LOL! So then everyone knows it’s Wes(t) KellyAnne is dating.
Ryan said KellyAnne is dating Wes just to make Johanna jealous, but KellyAnne denied it. Johanna says she doesn’t care that KellyAnne and Wes are together, but I saw a little annoyance there coming from her. Hee.
Hmmm… Really nothing great happened in the hour, so nothing much to write about. But as I wrote on another post, the season was decent overall, but I’m looking forward to an Inferno next year!
The finale for the Real World/Road Rules : The Island was Oct 29th. I was rooting for Ev pretty much the entire season because Johnny was so mean to her, but Ev sold out in the end.
She talked all that mess about not selling her soul to Johnny and all of that’s worth more than money, or whatever, and she sells out in the end anyway. What a waste. I guess the $75,000 was too tempting for her. I don’t blame her for wanting the money, but she shouldn’t have talked so much trash then.
So Johnny is a tool the entire time, to mostly everyone, and still walks away with some money. And he also got help from the girl (Ev) he bullied the most the entire season. I shouldn’t be surprised, life seems to work out like that often; tools getting rewarded.
And I don’t want to hear Ev’s complaints the next time Johnny harasses her on one of these challenges.
Anyway, I guess I’m happy for Derrick, he gets a little extra money to help take care of his family.
The season was OK all in all. It could have been better. Also, I don’t remember the seasons being so short. I thought they were at least 12+ episodes.
Well, I wasn’t too crazy about this type of challenge. Hopefully for the next challenge they’ll get back to the usual Duels and Infernos, etc.
I have to update about my TV shows soon. I’m watching The Office, Smallville, Fringe, Little People, Big World, Real World/Road Rules Challenge :The Island , Real Houswives of Atlanta and more. I don’t watch much TV lately. I do watch Big Brother 1 Israel and Big Brother 4 Finland online. Shai is my fave from BB1 Israel but he was just evicted today. Johan is my fave on BB4 Finland, he’s currently swapping places with a houseguest from BB3 Africa. It’s pretty cool.
Anyway, I should be writing soon. I really want to write about Smallville. Ugh, the budding Clark/Lois romance is so not cool!
Well, I watched the season 8 premier of Smallville a few days ago (it premiered on September 18, 2008). It was OK I guess, but I already miss Lana and Lex. But I know Kristin Kreuk (Lana) will guest star this season so that’s good. Hopefully Michael Rosenbaum (Lex) will too. The highlight of the episode was Clark/Tom, as always. He is just gorgeous.
Not much to say for the episode. As I said, it was OK. Chloe (Allison Mack) looked good. Chloe now has another ability. She has like a super computer brain now! And I do like that Justin Hartley (Oliver “The Green Arrow” Queen) will be a regular on the show. I started liking him after he first guest starred on a few Smallville episodes at the beginning of season 6.
It’s interesting that Clark has a new job at the Daily Planet. I’m not a fan of the Clark (Tom Welling) and Lois (Erica Durance) romance, so if that happens, it won’t make the show any better for me. In fact, it’ll make it worse. *sigh* Oh, well. I better get used to it because I’m sure Clark/Lois (Clois) is going to happen this season.
Oh and the Justice League is paltry, come on just three of them? Where are the other guys?! They need to get that together!
Well, I’ll watch the second episode of Smallville soon and might comment on it!

Weeks ago I wrote that the Real World/Road Rules Challenge :The Island was premiering on September 17, 2008, because that’s what the official RW/RR website said. But it seems to have premiered last week. Or perhaps the was some sort of “Preview before the Premier” show. Anyway, it lasted an hour and showed the contestants arrive on the island and get all of the rules and details about the game. Plus they had the first competition and elimination (Tonya was sent home). So I don’t know what was up with it premiering a week early.
Anyway, last night Abram went home, because he asked to be sent home. He really didn’t have to be in a challenge. And even after he lost the challenge, he still would have won when he went up against Johnny as to whom would be sent home.
Abram asked to go home and still many people voted to send Johnny home. LOL!
I was really looking forward to Abram on the challenge; I find him entertaining. I’m so disappointed that he left early. Well, I hope Kenny at least stays for a long while. Yes, Kenny can be a tool, but he cracks me up!
Anyway, I hope one of the girls wins the challenge (the $300,000) because the guys can be awful with their male chauvinism. I hope a girl makes them eat their words (even Kenny)!
On Tuesday, September 16, 2008, Dan Gheesling won the season 10 edition of Big Brother! I am really happy for him. Dan’s been my favorite since about the middle of week two. At first I wanted him to win it all no matter what. Then after the silly Replacement Roulette I lost some love for Dan and just wanted him to make it to the final two with either Keesha, Renny or Michelle. And I would have been OK with him winning or OK with him coming in second to either one of them. Either way would have been fine with me.
But after I got over my annoyance with Replacement Roulette, I started rooting for him to win the grand prize again, especially against Memphis. I was/am neutral toward Memphis for the most part. So I definitely wanted Dan to beat him in the final two. And he did; 7 votes for Dan to win, and 0 votes for Memphis. I must say that I feel a little bad for Memphis, I would feel better for him if he would have gotten at least a vote or two. But I’m sure he’ll be fine. He got $50,000 (before tax), a car (well actually he opted for more cash instead of the car), had a great experience on BB and got to be on TV! So he’ll be fine. I hope he and Keesha can be friends outside of the house. I tend to believe Memphis when he said BB wouldn’t let him talk to Keesha, before she left the house, about why he was evicting her.
Oh and speaking of Keesha, she won the $25,000 America’s Choice prize! Yay, good for her. I voted for her twice and wanted her to win it. So, I was really happy Tuesday night with the Dan and Keesha wins!
What I would have loved would have been Dan and Keesha in the final 2, with Dan winning the game with a 5/2 or 4/3 vote. And Michelle or Renny winning the $25,000 America’s Choice prize.
But it still turned out well. I’m happy for Dan & Memphis (The Renegades!) and Keesha. Congratulations to the three of them! It was a really good season and this was the first time someone I like from early in the game won the grand prize. So it was pretty cool!
Now…. Bring on Big Brother 11! LOL!
